Hey guys! Wow, we haven't written on our blog for almost a year! SO sorry... we've been extremely busy! and I cant believe we are almost at our 1 year anniversary! how time flies when you're having fun :) How do I even start to cover a year.... Adam and I have gone to a few fun places. We went to Solvang and did some shopping and site seeing. That was a blast! We ate at Pea Soup Anderson's, and just really enjoyed our little weekend getaway. We also went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA! That was amazing! I Love Aquariums! Oh, and we also went to Las Vegas! That was really fun too. We did a lot of shopping, site seeing, we saw a bunch of neat shows, and enjoyed swimming! And i cant forget our biggest vacation of all... our Honeymoon! We went on a cruise to Mexico! It went to Catalina Island, and then onto Ensenada Mexico. It was Amazing! The food was fantastic and the cruise and sightseeing destinations were awesome! Adam's favorite part was the 24 hour Ice Cream machine :) He loves ice cream cones. At Catalina we really wanted to get some T-shirt souvenirs from this one place called SOL. All the things in the store change colors when you go out in the sun. They had some awesome things in there! But of course, they were VERY expensive. So, we filled out little post cards and put our name in a box for a drawing that they were going to have shortly for our cruise. and guess what. Adam's name was pulled!! We each got a T-shirt, some lanyards, a very cute tote, and i even got some nail polish! and the best part is that all the stuff changes color when you go into the sun. OK, that's not the best part, the best part is that it all was FREE! How sweet is that? Catalina is so beautiful, I wouldn't mind going to visit again real soon! (hint-hint) ;) Mexico was quite a fun experience as well. We bought a quilt for i think $4, i got a bracelet for i believe $3, and some really neat leather sandals for $15. I think those were pretty good deals! Oh! We also got a plate with an amazing painting on it, done by hand (meaning NO paintbrushes) of a beachy sunset and our cruise ship on it. It also says "The West Family" on the top of it with hearts. A perfect gift for our honeymoon :)
So, what are we up to now? Well, we both are working A LOT! Adam is working at The Oaks Mall, and he was just promoted to Supervisor. Hurray! It also comes with a pay increase which is really great. I also work at The Oaks Mall at Guest Services, but I also work at the YMCA in the child care, and I ALSO babysit my sisters twin girls 4-5 times a week. I Love My Jobs! All 3 of them! I feel very lucky to have 3 jobs right now, especially when the jobless percentage keeps getting higher and higher! I'm actually at work right now, so if this blog is short and not very descriptive, that is why! but i find that while working at the mall is the only time I have to check e-mail and blog. So, I'll try to be better about blogging! But if for some reason it takes me a year to blog again, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and have a very Happy New Year! :)

Thankful
It is a little belated but I wanted to take a second and thank some of the special people in my life and let them know how grateful I am to have them in my life. First and most of all I am grateful for my dad. He has been there for me no matter what I was doing in my life, through the dumb ideas to the brilliant ones, he is the man that I look up to in my life. To my brother Rob, for always making me laugh and keeping it real. To Jeremiah, who has shown me a lot over the years. To Jay, the brother who has shown me what not to do lol j/k, for showing me some pretty cool things. To my grandparents, for always welcoming me with a smile and "hey addy". To the rest of my family for giving me those small life lessons that has helped me become the person I am today. I also want to thank Debbie and Everton for taking me in so quick and making feel like part of the family already and showing me some pretty cool things. For Mike, Al, and Jen for accepting me also and letting me feel like I have two more brothers and a sister that I never had. And to Liz, the love of my life, she has shown me another side of myself, a better side that I didn't know existed. She keeps it real and lets me know what is up lol, I love you! I could go on and on about what else I am grateful for but I think I am done being mushy lol.
